Message In A Glass

I have this one habit that irritates/disgusts some of my friends, at least 5 of them. The latest on the list expressed it just this afternoon. I am referring to this habit of drinking my water from a glass which was used previously with another beverage.

To explain this, let me cite some scenarios:
  • After eating an ice cream in a glass, I will pour my water and drink from it. In effect, the water is not clear and it looks "dirty" to some.
  • At home, we always prepare fruit shakes for dinner. Same thing, the glass I used to drink the shake will be the same glass to be used to drink my water.
  • In the office, I use the same cup I used to drink my Macchiatto Latte to drink my water after. This is the one that happened today.

There you go! To me, i don't find anything "dirty" to it. It might be unusual but I am sure I am not the only one doing this. But of course, that does not justify my habit.

Will I irk those sensibilities in you if I keep on doing this? Tell me, should I stop this habit?

A Year After

I'm back! Alleluia! Bravo! Mabuhay!

After almost three weeks of hibernation, I am finally able to jot some thoughts here in this page. I am sorry, if I let you wait longer than you ever deserve. Sorry - the most abused word in the English vocabulary.

Anyway, i finally came back from the wet, windy and winterly cold Sydney. One of the worst combinations of weathers that could ever happen. Did I make it sound so bad? Well there are days, moments rather, of clear skies. Brief moments that I really tried my best to get pictures once the skies clear up. A sample of it is this one....

Do you see those clouds on the left corner of the pic? In just 20 minutes, they covered the whole Sydney skies, turned grey and poured just few minutes after. Whew! The nights are different story altogether, not wet but colder.

On another note, it was Father's Day last year when I started blogging. It's been a year and I am actually surprised that I survived it. I'm sure that there are more years ahead of me here in the blogosphere. Especially now that I am earning a lot of friends. I know most of you are still to be shaken-hand with or hugged but I enjoy every moment, every piece of information, every thought and every feeling that we have been sharing. It's been a year and yet I am still as excited as before, maybe not as obsessed but more enthusiastic.

Of course, I thank you, yes YOU, for having me here and letting me be part of your worlds.

Cheers for more years!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. It's father's day today! Greetings for all the dads out there!
